Calendar Update:
The deadline has passed for Calendar photo submissions. However, to answer a number of questions:
YES, I will be updating the list of photos by tracking number. We have a LOT of wonderful, high quality photos this year and it is taking me a while to get them downloaded and compiled. I will have that on the site as soon as possible.
IF there is a problem with a submission, I will contact the submitter and request a new photo. In these cases, the deadline does not matter.
You can PRE-ORDER the calendar prior to printing. This is the ONLY way to ensure that you will have a calendar. I will order a percentage more than the pre-orders, but when they're gone, they're gone. I will hopefully have the ordering page on the site THIS weekend along with other announcements. (Agencies and organizations wishing to purchase multiple calendars should contact me through my form mail).

I have the same question as Amy, when will we find out if our child has been chosen for the calendar? We will be ordering about 12 to give as Christmas presents as well if our child is chosen.
Posted by: Melissa at October 14, 2005 02:13 PMI think I originally posted that we would announce the "Feature Photo" pics around the beginning of November. I *am* trying to speed up the process so that we can print them sooner. I still have to finish organizing the pictures and present ALL of them to our judges. The judges will need a couple of days to vote and then I will announce the results. I would check as early as the end of next week.
So you have an idea what will happen, here is my general *TO-DO* list:
1. Compile Feature photos for judges (cutoff for ALL 1st submissions was the 10th. Cutoff for resubmittals was the 15th, but I will push this back to the 17th if necessary).
2. LIST ALL PHOTOS that we have.
3. PRE-ORDERS will start this week *BEFORE* we have the Feature winners. If you do not have a child in the calendar (waiting parents, agencies, etc.), this is a good time to order.
4. JUDGING (2 - 3 days 20th?)
5. ANNOUNCEMENT of WINNERS (by the 1st of November, hopefully sooner)
6. RELEASE of DESIGN (early November) and to the printer.
7. CUTOFF for PRE-ORDERS in.....
8. PRINTING (mid November)
9. PRE-ORDERS ship - Approximately a week after PRINTING.
Hopefully, that answers a few questions. Just hang in there as we have many more photos than past years!!!
Thank you for the answers. I submitted a photo of our son, but just as a general pic. When will those be decided? Will that be the same as the feature pictures?
