I believe that most of the calendars (ordered before Dec. 10th) shipped yesterday. Since they were shipped via priority mail, they should be on your doorstep shortly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you ordered a package (5, 10 or more), there was an error in the original shipment (1 calendar was shipped instead of the entire package). Be assured that the rest of the calendars were sent as soon as the problem was identified.
Posted by Kelly at December 16, 2005 10:46 AMKelly- Thanks for all your hard work! I know this was a big project and I know everyone will enjoy them so much! Thanks again!
Posted by: Carrie at December 17, 2005 09:57 AMI am excited to see these, as well. Is there any way that they can be completed earlier next year? I am sad that they will not reach me in time to ship to out-of-state relatives for Xmas gifts. If not, I will only order one next year, for my family... Are there other printers out there that could complete the job sooner? My agency also did a calendar & I received theirs in the mail over a week ago.
Posted by: Alex at December 17, 2005 12:05 PMAlex - To be honest with you, I don't know if there will be a wall calendar next year. I was bone-weary by the end of the project (I do have a fulltime job and a 3 year old, so it about did me in!). I did manage to get the calendar to the printer a couple of weeks sooner thinking that it would be printed a couple of weeks sooner, but with the higher print quality and quantity it didn't seem to help.
Our printer actually does much more than print the calendars. I am not sure that I would even tackle the project without him.
If we can continue doing the calendars without becoming elitist ("this child in, this child out"), we'll do it.
Posted by: Kelly (Guatadopt.com) at December 17, 2005 01:03 PMAs Kelly's sister, I can attest to the unbelievable amount of energy she selflessly put into this project, sacrificing sleep and time with her family in order to get it to press. And the stress was incredible! I am proud that she does this to benefit others and proud that she champions the welfare of the children in Guatemala. I've been priviledged to see the comps of the caldendar and am sure everyone will love it! All the children are so beautiful!
Posted by: Angela at December 17, 2005 11:24 PMKelly,
Thank you for your hard work. I can't wait to see the calendar!
Posted by: Jennifer at December 18, 2005 07:36 PMKelly,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you put into the calendars ( I know because you sent me an email at 4 am.) You did an excellent job and we are grateful to you. Thanks again and Feliz Navidad!!!
Posted by: Dina at December 18, 2005 10:24 PMKelly,
This is my first year for ordering calendars and I am looking forward to receiving my order. It makes me sad to think that this year might be the last year for the calendars. I realize that this had been a major undertaking for you so I am offering my help next year with the calendars. I am a very detailed person who loves doing projects like this. Please remember me next September and I will do everything I can do help. Thanks for the wonderful job.

Kelly,
Super job on the calendars again this year! Very professional looking and high quality paper too. So many cuties!
BTW, I ordered 5 and received only 4. How should I proceed?
Posted by: Lyle at December 20, 2005 09:34 AMKelly,

Hi Kelly, I was wondering if you could tell me what state the calendars were shipped from. I ordered the beginning of November 11 calendars, I live in Florida and I have not received any even with the shipping error. My mail has already come today so I know that they aren't here today. Please let me know as I am leaving early Thursday morning for the holidays Thanks Amy
Posted by: Amy at December 20, 2005 01:24 PMKelly,
I was so excited to receive your beautiful calendar yesterday! It just excites me all the more to bring our sweet daughter home in early 2006. I hope you're able to find help with the calendar next year as I think it's a wonderful idea to use the proceeds to assist other families and children in Guatemala. I really appreciate all of your efforts and the time that was taken away from you and your family. Happy Holidays!
Posted by: Denise at December 20, 2005 02:07 PMKelly,
I am in tears and not able to adequately put into
words how amazing the calanders are!! We will treasure it way beyond 2006!!!
God bless you and your family!!
Hi Kelly,
The calendar is just beautiful-I love it. Thank you so much for your hard work-it is just precious!
BRAVO!
I received my calendar yesterday and it is beyond what I expected!
Great job Kelly!
First off, I am very excited about the calendars...I really hope we receive ours by tomorrow, I would like to give them out as Christmas gifts!
Posted by: Jaime at December 20, 2005 06:57 PMKelly,
Thank you so much for your tireless work on a beautiful calendar.
I have a question that may be useful to others. We ordered 5 calendars and received the first one yesterday. I expected the other 4 today as you mentionned may happen. They did not arrive. What whould be the best way to find out when and if they are coming? Can you provide contact information or are you dealing with the printer directly?
Cathy
I received the calendars today! What can I say? It is wonderful. Thank you for all your hard work. Now go and spend time with your family and enjoy the holidays!!!
Posted by: Kathy at December 20, 2005 10:30 PMFirst of all, THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of your hard work!! I am so excited about getting this calendar!!
BUT... we are leaving town on Thursday and hoping to be able to take these as gifts to our family. I have noticed many people saying they already have theirs... should I assume that mine are lost in the mail?? We ordered a batch of 5 and another single, for a total of 6. Please let me know if I can expect them soon.
THANKS!!!!
Cindy
Proud (and a tad bit impatient) Mommy to the handsome man in the bucket hat on the cover!!! :o)
Thanks for all the feedback.
OK, it looks like Priority Mail has been slower than last year. My family is in Georgia and my family has not receuved calendars either. The calendars are coming from MA, btw.
We have also noticed quite a few people have received the correction shipment of 4 (or 9) BEFORE they received the one originally shipped. I have no idea why that has happened. It might have something to do with the packaging.
I have verified that all orders before December 10th were shipped. We have to set some sort of cutoff for these batch shipments since it takes a good number of resources.
IF you ordered after the 10th, my family is sending YOUR calendars (we had the remaining shipped to us). We received them yesterday so we are sending a bunch out today.
I have thought about changing the shipping method since we don't have a way to track them once they are shipped. The reason I did not is because it is significantly more expensive and we do not have the resources to handle multiple types of shipments.
For now, everything matches up (number of calendars shipped vs. number of orders we received before the 10th).
Hopefully, these straggler calendars will be showing up today or tomorrow!!!!
Posted by: Kelly at December 21, 2005 07:21 AMThanks for responding Kelly!
We ordered ours back around Thanksgiving, so I will be watching out for them today!!
FELIZ NAVIDAD!!
Cindy
Kelly, I received most of my calendars, still missing one. They are so beautiful!!! We all appreciate all of your hard work. I would like to help with next years calendar. I can't imagine what it took to get this all done by yourself. We are in process of our second adoption and plan to pick up our second daughter in March. Thanks for all of your efforts!!! Proud mama of Isabella-ladybug in October. Enjoy the holiday
Posted by: Amy at December 21, 2005 01:15 PMWe received our other calendars today. FYI it was 2 days after the first one arrived.
Posted by: Cathy at December 21, 2005 09:02 PMI am getting worried!!!
They did not arrive today (Wed the 21st) if they were sent from MA on the 15th and we are just in Missouri, I think I should have them by now - dontcha think?
Why is everyone else getting theirs and I don't have mine yet? :o(
I ordered them and paid for them on November 15th. We leave for the Holidays tomorrow afternoon, I pray they are here by then!!
Thanks so much for all the hard work Kelly. I am in Kansas and haven't recieved any Calendars yet. I ordered 5 in November and 2 more on the 12 of December. I can't wait to see them! It's too late to mail them for gifts but I am hoping they will some how arrive so I can give a few of them in person on the big day!
Posted by: Amy at December 21, 2005 11:59 PMI received my calendar today in San Diego and I love it! Thank you!
Posted by: Julie at December 22, 2005 12:20 AMYes, I have been biting my nails and pulling my hair out. Last year, we seemed to have pretty good luck with priority mail getting the calendars to their destinations within just 2 days. This year, it seems to be having the performance of Bulk mail and I am so frustrated. If you have not received your calendar(s), you are not alone. My family has not received theirs and it seems to be area-related.
I've asked the printer to check with the mail service and make sure that shipments were not sitting in the backroom somewhere!!!!!!
....and you wonder why I am debating on NOT doing a 2007 calendar???
Posted by: Kelly (Guatadopt.com) at December 22, 2005 08:30 AMKelly - I'm among the people still waiting for just one copy - got the other four. Thank you for all the hard work! The calendar is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to show it off to my family.
Give little Dani a Christmas hug from Abby!

Posted by: Denise at December 22, 2005 08:45 AMMerry Christmas Kelly and thanks for the beautiful calendar! Awesome job! We are still waiting for two but hopefully they'll be here by Saturday. For others waiting, we are in Missouri and received our first batch on Wed. Give Dani a kiss from Alyssa! And hugs from little Gabriella too!

Mom to Joey (my March Sweetie).
Posted by: Laurie at December 22, 2005 02:38 PMI live in GA and still haven't received my calendars. (Kelly, I know this isn't your fault at all!)
Kelly, I know you said that you have relatives in GA; have they received theirs yet?
Thanks again for all of your hard work.
I got my calendar on Tuesday afternoon. Just gorgeous! I can't imagine the hours of work that went into it. My daughter sat and looked at all of the pictures in wonders saying, "Look Mommy. She/he is brown like me!" to just about every one of them. We are thrilled to have ours! Thank you for this labor of love for the children of Guatemala whom we all treasure.
Christmas blessings to you and your family.
FABULOUS job on the calendars! I rec'd mind yesterday. You should be very proud of yourself Kelly, you did a remarkable job! All of the children pictured are absolutely adorable, way to go parents - you should all be very proud too :) !
