As I mentioned before, I have been working on revamping the site. I had hopes to move some things over...but I'm a little behind. But since I promised...and readers have been so supportive, I'll give you a little teaser.

We'll be moving our informational documents and much more to this area so that our readers can browse what we have easily. Let me know what you think!
Posted by Kelly at June 16, 2006 07:13 PMThe left window might be too big...I have to scroll left/right to see all of the contents in the right window. Maybe this is a function of my screen, I'm not sure. I've used both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to view it, and it is the same for both browsers.
I admit that I like the graphics better for the existing site.
Either way, I'm an avid reader of this site and appreciate all of the hard work you do, Kelly. Thank you for your time and efforts.

You should be able to resize the frames for whatever your browser needs.
Also, just so everyone knows....this is just part of the Resource Center (or maybe, I should call it the Guatemalan Adoption Reference Center?). It is not the main page which will continue to have the latest posts. In the RC, I keep things minimal so that it is easy to add and edit reference material....and most importantly, easy for readers to find information!
I'll release the other parts of the site soon...and hopefully, everyone will see the benefits of the new design :-)
Posted by: Kelly (guatadopt.com) at June 16, 2006 09:13 PMAH! I stand corrected! Much better! Thanks! And yes, I agree, keep things minimal and clutter-less to navigate easier.
Can't wait to see more!
Posted by: Nadia Ortiz at June 16, 2006 09:34 PMI just want to give you feedback that the current site looks much more professional and accessible than the new one. Not sure if you care but although first impressions shouldn't rule the roost, the reality is that a site that looks more professional and sophisticated carries more weight and will draw people deeper. The new graphic is a little cheesy. Good luck, and thank you for your incredible work!
