Children now at Amor Del Nino

Four children who ahd been housed at the hogar Los Pinos (which we're told have closed) have been moved to Amor del Nino. They are all boys and their initials are H.E.S., B.B., B.R.N., and R.A.L.G. The folks at Amor del Nino would love to hear from you. You can contact them via their website at: http://www.lovethechild.org.

Jenny,

was your child involved in a raid? I attended the hearing on Tuesday to move 3 of the boys from Los Pinos to Amor del Nino. Yes, Los Pinos is closing their baby house in GC - actually the closure is almost complete. they will keep the Peten compound open.
please pm me if you can.

thanks

Jessica,
There is NO indication that Guatemala will be open to adoptions by Americans any time soon. Read recently that it's likely a matter of years before it re-opens.

I can't begin to thank you for the info that you share on this site. Because of you, we are one huge step closer to bringing our son home. I am Jenny's husband and ask that you and all your readers pray for us. I am going down down there tomorrow to meet with CNA and hopefully the Judge. Shyrel is great and she is going to be taking me personally. Thank you again.

Our daughter is there. Shyrel and Steve have been wonderful. Bella is doing great and cant wait to meet them in person.Hopefully in a couple of months when we will be going through the empathy study through the CNA.

Why doesn't the Guatemalen government see what they are doing to these children, by not letting them be adopted. They are witholding them from having fulfilling lives with people that would love them and give them the proper care. Is there any kind of information indicating the length of time the government will have all adoptions shut down and when the adoptions will be reopening?
