Calendar photo submission has ended as promised. We should be able to have a preview available here right around Nov. 16. Calendars will be available via a donation to the Do Good Charitable Foundation until approx. 11/30/09 and will ship to arrive in time for Christmas.
To place a donation and receive the calendar as a premium, click here: http://www.do-good-stuff.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=123
Also, we are back "in business" for other Do Good items. If you place an order along with your calendar, the non-calendar merchandise will ship immediately, it won't wait for the calendars, but you will only be charged once for shipping...
The calendar schedule is as follows:
Oct 20 – Nov 2: photo submissions - ENDED
Nov 2 – Nov 15: calendar is being designed
Nov 16 – Nov 30: order period. We will post a PDF of the final product.
Dec 1 – Dec 15: print and bind
Dec 16: ship UPS ground (they should all arrive a few days before X-Mas)
I submitted my photo's. Looking forward seeing the calendar again.
Question, we are stationed overseas and using an APO box. Last year we used a friends address in the States, to make it easier since the APO was giving problems. Do we have to do the same again this year, or can we use our APO?

Posted by: mommy at October 25, 2009 07:46 PMHi,
Will we be able to preview the calendar before ordering to see if our picture was accepted? This is our first year as we adopted our little girl 1 year ago on the 5th of Nov.
Thank you. Your site gives great information on Guatemala. Janis
Ok maybe someone can help me. I am horrible with computers. Hubby is a computer engin. so he does all my stuff. Unfortunately he is traveling so I will have to do the upload myself. I can do the upload but I looked at all the "rules" like sizes, resolution etc... The pics I have were taken on my digital computer and then dowloaded to our computer. Will these pics be ok to upload or do I have to do something special. None have been cropped or altered from the original pic taken on my camera. Thank for any help.

Posted by: Chrissy at November 3, 2009 09:10 AMWhen trying to order/donate, I get the message stating there is a problem with the website's security certificate. Can this be remedied so I can order/donate please? It is also our first year being able to submit our dd's photos for the calendar so we are very excited. Thanks!
Posted by: Lisen at November 3, 2009 08:48 PMChrissy...you should be okay to upload the pictures you are referencing. At least, that's what I've always done and I've never had to worry about exceeding size limits. Good luck!
Posted by: Kris at November 4, 2009 08:50 AMChrissy, your pics should be fine the way they are to upload.
Posted by: Kim at November 5, 2009 10:27 AMI wish I could still submit.
