Way To Go Guat 900!

I just read the synopsis of the meeting this week in DC. Hats off and heartfelt kudos to the Guatemala 900! Your dedication and determination is clear in the pictures and actions. I truly hope to God that the folks in power in Guatemala look at those pictures and see what I do. I hope that they have the courage to realize that if at this point, years after these cases began, if they have not found sufficient reason to question the legitimacy of a case, IT IS TIME TO COMPLETE THEM. There are clearly devoted families for these children and it is the children's best interest be with their permanent families!

Praying that this is the last action needed and these kiddos come HOME where they belong. Praying for all of you.

May this be the last Mother's Day without completed Guatemalan adoptions! Glad to hear things went well!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the waiting families and will be until you have all of your children home. Hoping this effort will be the one that works to move the system.

Praying this gets a resolution soon. These families have been so steadfast and determined. God bless them and all the waiting children.

Does anyone have a miracle solution for getting through to the US Embassy in Guatemala..such as a good number to call, a contact name etc. I have questions on final adoption processing such as the new DNA procedure, etc. I have been calling the main line 502-2326-4000 and 4600 and no luck!!!

Thank you.

Karen, I had good luck with calling Susan Olsen at this phone number: 011-502-2326-4000 EXT. 4442. It looks like you have the right phone number but maybe incorrect extension number. She can be very helpful to what info that you need or who you need to talk to etc. Good luck!!! Delilah

Karen,

Try to email Kay Anske from the embassy. Her email address is AnskeKL@state.gov.

Has anyone recently made it to the AG office, waiting for the final signature, and then after it was photocopied told the file was being previo'd? I was just told that on my file and was also told it happened to someone else this week. I don't this I can keep this up!

All,

my heart continues to break to see your posts and your lil angels are still not home. I have advised and helped many but during the last year the challenges can not be said in words. I fought for 1 of my 2 girls to come home and i just say.. KEEP FIGHTING!.
