Finally, an adoption story our children can relate to...on Sesame Street.
"Gina travels to Guatemala to adopt a baby, and Maria joins her on the trip to help her with the language." Gina's baby, Marco, is one of our own (or I should say THREE of our own). This season's episodes stars Ashlynn and Caleb (twins) and is scheduled to premier this week.... in Atlanta: Monday at 8AM EST (Channel 30 WPBA) and Tuesday at 9AM EST (Channel 8 PBS). Check your local listings for these special programs. Next season, Marco will be played by Matthew! Guatadopt.com is extremely proud of being involved in the "search" for our new stars. I can't think of a better program to show the way we feel about our children!
Sesame Street is still trying to fill the role of Marco for the 38th season. The talent coordinator is opening up the submissions to NON-TWINS. Since I know we have quite a few handsome boys living near New York, I am sure we can help them out!!!!! They are still looking for a baby around 10 months old.
I can't stress what a wonderful opportunity this will be for the lucky family. Please contact Carrie (Sesame Street Talent Coordinator) if you have any questions or would like to submit a photo. FOR MORE INFO: http://www.guatadopt.com/archives/000487.html
Calendars - Keep those photos coming! We're going to have a spectacular calendar this year!!!! We love all the wonderful photos we have received so far.
Sesame Street has asked again for help with a talent search.
World Renowned Children's Television Series, Sesame Street, Casting Guatemalan Twin Babies
Sesame Street, produced by the nonprofit educational organization Sesame Workshop, is looking to cast
male twin babies ANY LITTLE BOY of Guatemalan decent for its 38th season. The child needs to be around 10 months old (as of November) and available to be in Queens once taping begins. It is preferred that the families live in the surrounding tri-state area, Pennsylvania or Maryland.
We already have one Guatadopt family whose children are going to play Marco's introduction to the show. The viewing times are available HERE.
It is a paid position and there will be a set nurse present and lots of Muppets! I'll also speak up and say that Sesame Street has been a wonderful supporter of diversity education and this is an EXTREMELY positive portrayal of the joy we feel in adoption.
